Whether we are in a good health or not, rich or poor, weak or strong, young or old, its arrival cannot be denied.
Rasulullah said that “Remember often the destroyer of all pleasures.” – (At-Tirmidhi)
The meaning of the destroyer of all pleasures is the death. Because the human being used to love the world and which on it. It’s why they fear to lose what they have in this world. Even, in fact, all the things that human have belongs to Allah alone.
Allah the Almighty also says in the Qur’an :
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion. (3:185)
Indeed, Allah the creator of this life remind human being about this state. Which is the soul taken from our body. No pleasure will remain forever except for those who Allah gives them Jannah so they will abide in it forever.
Talking about the death is a must for every Muslim who believes in the day of resurrection and the day of judgement. Furthermore we can prepare ourselves for that day and not to incline to the temporary pleasure such as wealth, beauty, fame, family, and so on.
Yet we should use what Allah gives us as the tool to gain the good deeds in this world before the death.
